Reason for being an au pair

I’m a sophomore in college and I’m looking to gain some real life experience. I would like to take a yearlong break from school in order to gain some time for retrospection; I feel it would be beneficial for me to have a change of scenery. I want to get out in the world and have an adventure so to speak. I am an honest and reliable person, and very hardworking; I take pride in what it is that I do so I do it to the very best of my abilities. I love children, and I take care of my 4-year-old niece as often as I can because I truly enjoy spending time with her. I want to be a role model for her, as she grows older. I absolutely adore kids and cannot imagine a job more perfect than helping them grow. I enjoy playing around and being silly and having fun with children.
